Welcome to the Pension RIEDL
The Pension Riedl was founded in 1948 by Johanna Riedl, the grandmother of the present owner.
To this day, the guesthouse is run by the same family, with the same philosophy of individual and private guest care.
Located on the 4th floor of an Art Nouveau palace in the heart of Vienna, a stay in one of our 10 rooms is as “Viennese” as it gets.
On the imperial Georg-Coch-Platz, between the Ringstraße and Otto Wagner’s famous Postsparkasse, you are close to the heart of Vienna.
We are the only guesthouse in the first district that offers you the possibility to park your car in a public garage directly at the house. The parking space comes with discounts for our guests.
You will find that the guest house is like Vienna itself…. traditional yet modern, spacious yet cosy.

Our rooms
In accordance with our focus on historical tradition, we have not simply numbered our rooms, but given them associative names such as MOZART, SCHÖNBRUNN, STRAUSS, SISI or BURGTHEATER. All rooms have SAT-TV, free W-LAN in the whole pension, high quality beds, free tea and coffee. The modern bathrooms are equipped with a spacious glass shower compartment with rain shower, WC, towel radiator, hairdryer, panoramic mirror and much more. Our nostalgic rooms are especially suitable for price-conscious guests (Mozart, Strauss, Schubert).
